What is SpyBuddy Stealth Edition?
SpyBuddy Stealth Edition is the same product as our SpyBuddy software package - however, instead of having to manually install, configure, and setup SpyBuddy, SpyBuddy Stealth Edition takes care of all this for you by setting up a predefined rulelist for monitoring actions, as well as all stealth mode options and more.

In a nutshell - SpyBuddy Stealth Edition defaults all options and settings for you. This means you do not have to spend time figuring out which area's you would like to monitor! This is important to understand, as once you grasp this, you will begin to realize what SpyBuddy Stealth Edition does for you.
Downloading SpyBuddy Stealth Edition...
Upon ordering SpyBuddy Stealth Edition, you received an e-mail containing a link to download your copy of SpyBuddy Stealth Edition (in the e-mail with your receipt of purchase). The first step to getting started with SpyBuddy Stealth Edition is to download the SpyBuddy Stealth Edition setup file onto your PC. To do this, simply click the link inside the e-mail, and select the location on your PC where you wish to store the file. If you have a hard time remembering where to find files after you have downloaded them, we suggest you save the SpyBuddy Stealth Edition file to your desktop.
Note: The default filename for the SpyBuddy Stealth Edition setup file is spybuddy-stealth-setup.exe. It is suggested you do not change this filename - however, if you do, it will not effect SpyBuddy Stealth Edition at all. Once you are done with this file(i.e. - SpyBuddy Stealth Edition is fully installed and functioning on your PC), it is suggested you delete it to prevent others from finding it.
The following pictures shows you what the SpyBuddy Stealth Edition setup file will look like on your desktop (if this is where you saved the file to):
Installing SpyBuddy Stealth Edition...
Now that you have completely downloaded SpyBuddy Stealth edition - it is time to install it onto your PC. To install SpyBuddy Stealth Edition - all you need to do is double (or single) click the spybuddy-stealth-edition.exe file on your PC (this is the file you downloaded). This will activate the SpyBuddy Stealth Edition installer. You will notice that no windows, popups, or dialogs appear. Everything is installed in complete stealth.
After a few seconds after running the SpyBuddy Stealth Edition setup file file (spybuddy-stealth-setup.exe), you will see a message appear requesting you to reboot your PC (as seen in the picture below)...
It is imperative that you follow this only on screen instruction displayed when prompted to by the SpyBuddy Stealth Edition setup wizard. This is because, in order for SpyBuddy to begin monitoring the PC, the computer needs to have a refresh restart. If you opt to not reboot your computer, SpyBuddy Stealth Edition will immediately begin monitoring the PC the next time it is rebooted.
Opening SpyBuddy Stealth Edition
Now that you have rebooted your computer, SpyBuddy is not running behind the scenes on your PC, tracking all activity. When it comes time for you to want to open the SpyBuddy console, for reviewing logs, adjusting log settings, etc., you can do this one of two ways. These two ways are explained below...
Option A: Download the following utility (that comes with SpyBuddy Stealth Edition) and run it. This will remove SpyBuddy Stealth Edition from stealth mode completely.
Option B: On your keyboard, simultaneously press Ctrl Shift Alt Q
If this is your first time removing SpyBuddy Stealth Edition from stealth mode - you will need to use the default password setup for SpyBuddy Stealth Edition. The default SpyBuddy Stealth Edition password is as follows (note, this password is CASE SENSITIVE): "spybuddy" (without the quotes)
Tip: You can change this password to whatever you would like by using the Password Configuration tool inside SpyBuddy.
Upon doing either of the above options, and entering in your password, you will be greeted with the SpyBuddy interface. Once inside the SpyBuddy console interface, you can begin reviewing all of the logs SpyBuddy Stealth Edition has recorded, as well as adjust any logging settings that you may want to change.
Final Notes About SpyBuddy Stealth Edition
- All SpyBuddy Stealth Edition files and modules are stored
in a hidden location on your PC. If you wish to access these, you can do
so by navigating to the following folder on your PC: C:\Windows\System32\win32cfg
- The default password for SpyBuddy Stealth Edition is "spybuddy" (without the quotes). The password is also case sensitive, which means, "SPYBUDDY" is not the same as "spybuddy". When typing in your password, esnure caps lock is off, and you are typing in the password exactly as it was set.
